Loved the insomniac post.
I once learned (in your head) to pretend you are writing on a big blackboard and, in big numbers, write backwards from 100 and see how close you can get to 1 - sleep tight :-)
My comments on your last four posts seem to have been swallowed up by Blogger and spat out into goodness knows where!

I mentioned again how lovely I find your writing to be and that how beautiful you manage to even make insomnia sound. That post was like reading poetry.
What was not beautiful, however, was that scary Spider Hunting Wasp. Eeergh - but, hey, I supposed nature is as nature does and one should not be squeamish. (Still shuddering, nonetheless!)
And again, poetry in the words describing your watery world. Just perfectly perfect, Val.
(Going to copy this in case it gets spat out again - then I can flippin' email it instead! Hehehe, I seem to be jinxed when sending things your way....)
