Val! Your neighbours are so regal and imposing! Can you let children play outside by themselves with all the incredible wildlife so close by?

Oh my goodness! Soooo close to the King! He looks incredibly regal sitting on the raodway. However I admit, it was disconcerting to see him just outside your window. Hope he was a friendly neighbour.

Geli - he's magnificent hey? and not really worried by us. probably been watching us for ages, but still...


Bonnie - usually its ok although they couldnt go off wandering into the reserve alone of course. just at the moment, the lions are verymuch in this area so probably not. we dont have kids though

Lyn - yup he;s friendly! but in a lion kind of way. we prefer to keep a little distance

Fire Byrd - that feeling of wonder never goes away - really.

What a handsome fellow! On our visit to Kruger during September we saw a number of lions. We didn't get any shots like these, most of ours are lazy sleeping lion shots! Thanks for sharing.
